In mid-2014, the construction of the 50 MW photovoltaic park La Jacinta began in Uruguay. This plant, which started service in mid-2015, was the first large Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in Uruguay using photovoltaic solar energy as its primary source. FRV retained Ingener to provide the engineering and the execution of the connection works to the UTE transmission network in 150 kV under a turnkey EPC contract.
