MELOWIND WIND FARM – 50 MW

50 MW Melowind wind farm is located in the department of Cerro Largo. Its production level is over 200 million kilowatt hours (kWh) per year.
After a difficult selection process, Ingener was selected for designing and implementing the electro-mechanical assembly and the civil works of the 31.5/150 kV step-up substation, the UTE 150kV utility substation and the 31.5kV internal network.
The client also awarded Ingener the construction of 12 foundation bases for Nordex 2.5 MW wind turbines.
