AIR LIQUIDE – EPC

Air Liquide is an international group of French origin, world leader in gases for industry and health, which is present in 75 countries by means of affiliates and subsidiaries. It has been operating in Uruguay since 1991.

In 2014, the company approved the investment for the installation of an ASU plant to produce liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen in their Santa Lucía plant located in the city of Ciudad del Plata, department of San José. The ASU, type ASPEN 1000, was manufactured by COSMODYNE and made in USA.
For this project, Air Liquide awarded Ingener a contract for the design and turnkey erection of the liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen production plant.
From the beginning, our technical team supported the client in the various steps of this important project; the first milestone being the design of civil facilities, electrical, mechanical and fire prevention installations. In 2016, civil works, the electro-mechanical assembly and auxiliary services required for smooth operation were conducted on a turnkey basis; as well as the construction of the fire prevention systems, the utility substation and the public-private combined work with UTE.
