After completing the concrete works of the first wind turbine base, INGENER fulfills an important milestone for the commissioning of the farm expected in the first quarter of 2019.

INGENER, industry leader in electrical engineering and construction, has completed the first significant milestone of the 39.6 MW “La Banderita” wind farm infrastructure works, under a contract with GRUPO FRALI.

This milestone was set at the completion of the first base for the eleven 3.6 MW wind turbines to be placed near the city of General Acha. The works are in progress and the wind farm is set to go on stream in the first quarter of 2019.

The “La Banderita” project was awarded to GRUPO FRALI on November 2016, as part of the renovar 1.5 program. INGENER is completing a turnkey project that comprises all infrastructure works, such as wind turbine foundations and platforms, roadways, and the new 132/33 kV substation to connect this wind farm to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI).

Grupo FRALI is an Argentine company which has been investing in the country for over 25 years. It has run development and constructions projects for different commercial segments, such as real estate, hotels & hospitality, agriculture, cattle ranching, energy and financial businesses.

INGENER is a key actor of the investment process that transformed Uruguay into a leader in the development of renewable energies in Latin America. In 2016, INGENER expanded into Argentina to be part of the power industry development fostered by the government and, since then, the company has executed several EPC contracts for power transmission and generation projects.
