PLASTIPAK – EPC

Plastipak is a company worldwide recognized as a leader in the plastic containers industry, with different high-tech facilities in the US, South America (Brazil and Argentina) and Europe.
The company is engaged in the design and manufacture of containers for food and beverages, cleaning; industrial, automotive and personal care products, including wines, beers, and distilled
spirits containers.
In early 2015, Ingener was requested the design, implementation and commissioning of Plastipak’s new production plant in the province of San José, under an EPC contract.
The work included the full execution of the civil and electromechanical works necessary for the implementation, the connection works with UTE, the 30 kV line, the HVAC system, the fire prevention system, the industrial services (compressed air, cooling water, vacuum system), etc.
INGENER performed many works for this project, the most outstanding being the erection of more than 400 tons of mechanical equipment and structures, over 30 tons of carbon and stainless steel pipes, and more than 15,000 inches of welding.
