ANCAP – FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM OIL TERMINALL PANT

Remodeling of the fire prevention system of ANCAP East Terminal Plant in José Ignacio, Maldonado; including the deluge and foam suppression systems for eight 65.000 m3 API tanks.

The work consisted in the remodeling of the fire prevention network with 24-inch HDPE pipes, valves and other elements; mounting two 4000 GPM diesel pumps for fire fighting and the respective jockey pumps. Incorporation of new hydrants for hoses and super monitors. Installation of a foam suppression system at the seals of each tank. Installation of a cooling ring system with sprinklers on each tank.
Automatic fixed water spray system for protection of seals in fuel pumps.
Construction and erection of a new FPS pump room (two 4000 GPM/10.5 bar diesel pumps). Complete detection system by fiber optics with automatic monitoring and alarm center.
