In 2018, ANTEL granted to Ingener a turnkey contract for the construction of stages I and II of ANTEL Data Center at Pando.
The work included the engineering, procurement and construction of all civil, electrical and mechanical works required to furnish a complete data room in the center.
The data room, designed under Uptime Institute TIER III guidelines, is one of the most modern rooms in Uruguay and the region, with more than a 350-rack capacity.
Ingener developed the engineering, procurement and construction of all the medium and low voltage electrical assembly, including the power generation plant, complete installation of the air conditioning system, complete IT infrastructure including data cabling, fuel system and associated civil works.
After the construction and commissioning of the facility, Ingener took charge of the preventive and corrective maintenance of the whole data center for 3 years.
