Client: Katoen Natie (Terminal Cuenca del Plata)

Under its “in-house” management model, Ingener is responsible for the power supply, the maintenance program for the gantry cranes, and the electrical network and lighting of the more than 35 hectares of Terminal Cuenca del Plata (TCP), owned by Katoen Natie, which has held the concession for the container terminal at the port of Montevideo since 2001.

Ingener also handles the plugging (power supply) and monitoring of refrigerated containers.

Some of the greatest challenges have been the commissioning of the new gantry cranes and the operation of the new remote monitoring system that controls the parameters of the refrigerated units.

To maintain this critical infrastructure, Ingener operates permanently with a 40-person in-house team.
