Client: Gerdau Laisa
Gerdau, a steel producer, hired Ingener in 2014 to carry out the mechanical installation of equipment at the water plant and the roughing and rolling mill (approximately 250 tonnes), as well as the related electrical installations.
The works consisted of:
-Installation of steel structures, walkways, stairs, handrails, pipe supports, fittings and accessories.
-Hydrostatic testing, visual inspections and gamma radiography testing.
-Operational cleaning of piping (compressed air, hydraulics, lubrication and greasing).
-Supply of panels.
-Fabrication and installation of piping for the hydraulic lubrication and greasing system of the plant’s rolling mills.
-Fabrication and installation of piping for the water treatment plant.
