Montevideo and Salto, Uruguay — 2014/2016
Client: UTE. Subcontract for Teyma
We undertook the civil and electrical engineering design, electromechanical installation, supplies, spare parts and related services for the expansion of the Salto Grande Uruguay (SGU) Substation.
Ingener’s works included:
-Expansion of the existing substation.
-Expansion of the 150 kV main and auxiliary busbars.
-Supply and installation of towers for the modification of 150 kV line entries.
-Construction of the control building.
-Installation of medium-voltage switchgear.
-Construction of the new Montevideo M substation.
-Design, installation and commissioning of the protection system for the lines to MVM at the Montevideo I and Montevideo A substations.
