Complete construction of all civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works required to expand the capacity of the Topping and Vacuum units at La Teja Refinery.
The works included:
-Dismantling of equipment and interconnections.
-Complete construction of foundations for the new equipment.
-Installation of new equipment and mechanical structures (pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, steel structures, etc. – 200 tonnes).
-Piping installation (+20,000 weld inches).
-Associated electrical and instrumentation installation.
-Hydrostatic testing and cleaning of new and modified piping.
-Hydrostatic testing of modified vessels, pumps and other equipment.
All works were carried out in compliance with strict construction codes and the highest industry standards, as they involved facilities in classified (hazardous) areas, piping under ASME and/or API codes, among others.
