UTE: 150 kV transmission network –M substation in Montevideo and SGU substation in Salto Grande

UTE has drawn an EPC (Engineering, Supply and Construction) contract up for the new Montevideo M (MVM) 150 kV transmission substation and the upgrading of the Salto Grande Uruguay (SGU) substation. Under this contract, Ingener will be responsible for the complete executive engineering works (including civil works and electro-mechanical, protection, control and communication facilities), as well as the provision and assembly of electro-mechanical equipment and subsequent commissioning of the new facilities. This new contract allows us to strengthen the provision of integral solutions for the high voltage substations segment.

ANCAP – Cementos del Plata: new lime plant in Cerro Méndez, province of Treinta y Tres

Ingener has undertaken a contract from Cementos del Plata for the supply and erection works of the Balance of Plant (BOP) electrical systems, for its new lime plant located in the province of Treinta y Tres. This is a large-scale contract, in terms of both human resources requirements and material supply. Ingener has the capability to carry out these services based on the experience gained in works such as the UPM (formerly known as Botnia) and Montes del Plata pulp mills, and similar works carried out at the ANCAP La Teja refinery.

COUSA: oil plant – ice condenser

Ingener will be in charge of the engineering, mechanical assembly, and structure and pipe supply for the new installation of an ice-condenser in COUSA oil plant in Montevideo. This new system will be assembled inside the plant, which is currently in operation. This is challenging project since it requires assembling a large structure in a confined space.

UTE: 16 MW back-up power generation in Treinta y Tres and Rio Branco

The civil works and the erection of back-up generators for UTE have been successfully completed, with their associated fuel power systems and grid connection. These projects took place in the cities of Treinta y Tres and Rio Branco.

GERDAU, iron and steel company. New steel rolling and roughing line.

GERDAU, an iron and steel plant, has entrusted Ingener with the assembly of the new rolling and roughing line and the associated water-treatment plant, both projects to complete in a very tight deadline.

Wind farms scheduled maintenance service

AKUO ENERGY has awarded Ingener a contract for the operation and maintenance of the medium voltage network, and the step-up substation, for power evacuation in its two 50 MW wind farms, located near the cities of Minas and Florida, respectively.

This type of service is an opportunity for deploying Ingener’s broad experience in ensuring network availability, thus making the most of the wind power generated at the station.
