Ingener, in a consortium with the multinational Siemens, was awarded by ENDE, Bolivia’s state-owned power company, the engineering, supply, construction and commissioning of a new 50 MVAr STATCOM system to be installed at Paraíso substation, near the city of Trinidad, in Beni.
It is a state-of-the-art static synchronous reactive power compensation system that improves the quality of power transmission.
Ingener’s works included:
-Detailed civil engineering.
-Civil works.
-Electromechanical installation.
-HVAC system.
-Cooling system for the new reactive power compensation system.
